Flow in explosions

Everyone knows how important VFX´s are in a production. The relevance is immense to be able to create amazing worlds like avatar, avenger´s cities, planets and a bunch of movies you´ve seen.
But there is no perception in people out there and sometimes even inside the industry, that what you get sometimes is just a rig, a model and that´s it. A grey Maya background and hopefully a computer that runs well the software you need.
